An idea borrowed from my brother-in-law, this is the original version, designed to hold reusable plastic storage bags while they drip dry. The heart-shaped tiles on the bottom keep it out of any moisture on the counter. Pretty handy, and a great housewarming, wedding shower, or “just because” gift!
Imperfect as it’s handmade and I’m no woodworker, but my first attempt is still holding up great after several years. The base and dowels are both light, sturdy wood. The tiles are ceramic.
