I love Redware. Ours are made of Redstone clay which is fired at 2285 degrees. Unlike historic Redware, it is glazed on the inside so it is functional to hold liquids. The white decorations are white clay rather than paint, giving the raised feeling to the texture. Each piece is made individually reflective of historic patterns. Our Redware pieces are dishwasher safe.
