My mom (Craftygenie) and I loved to do sewing and crafting projects together. She was an artist and dress designer. Always a perfectionist, if she didn’t like how I had sown something. She had me rip it out and start over until it was perfect. Through the years she did many art and craft fairs in Mt Prospect. Where she showed her paintings and crafts. When she retired she had a crafting business in Marco Island Florida called Craftygenie. There she made wreaths, bird houses, and kitchen items like hanging towels. I’ve decided to re kindle Craftygenie and keep the love of sewing and crafting going. I will be making several sewing projects. Some that Craftygenie started herself but never finished.
