Description
I mined this teardrop shaped stone at the Broken Arrow Mine near Mina Nevada. The green veins of Variscite running through the host rock make this a stunning statement piece… especially if hung on some Navajo Pearls. It is set in sterling silver. The stone is 1-3/4 tall and 1″ at the widest point.
Variscite is different than turquoise in that it does not contain the copper element that gives turquoise it’s blue color.
