Description
All of these beautiful handcrafted jewelry pieces have a Day of the Dead, Dia de los Meurtos, motif featuring the shape of a painted skull decorated with brightly colored ornamentation. The skulls often represent the people who have passed who are receiving offerings at the altar during this multi-day holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and parts of Latin America that honors loved ones who have died.
Our pieces capture the bright colors of the skulls that are floating in resin. Our piece selections range from some floating in real pinecones which have been cut into rings, to those paired with rustic wood pieces, to some which are solely floating in resin. Each selection is unique.
Reno-Tahoe Art: each pinecone used for this handmade jewelry has been collected in the Reno-Tahoe region and has been carefully crafted into a beautiful piece of pinecone jewelry by dipping the cone in resin, cutting it into discs and shaping it into a pinecone ring that can float beautiful metal charms.
