Description

This Desert Bloom Variscite pendant is set in sterling silver and includes a stainless steel chain.

The Desert Bloom comes from a claim North of Tonopah Nevada in the Candelaria Hills. This stunning matrix comes in tight web form as small as a pin head apart.

Turquoise and variscite are both gemstones, but turquoise contains copper, which gives it its characteristic blue color, while variscite is a green phosphate mineral that does not contain copper. Variscite is generally rarer and softer than turquoise.
