Description
This mountain lake artwork started with repurposed wood and Lodgepole pinecones hand picked from Lake Tahoe. These natural materials were used to create these woodland art displays of a colorful mountain scene, lake included. The repurposed pine has been painted and then the parts of the pinecone carved and shaped into flowers painted different colors to create the mountain scenes. Both pieces have a tree core painted to look just like a Lake Tahoe pine tree. The result is a charming 3-dimensional piece of artwork. Both of the pieces are lightweight enough to hang with a piece of natural twine or wire. This would be perfect for a nature-loving friend or for cabin décor.
